theatre arts 3 - advanced

The Theatre Arts 3 class is designed as the next level for actors to further develop and hone their skills and craft. Students will build off the skills of Theatre Arts 1 to delve deeper into scene work, monologues, performance, and the study of various styles of theatrical works including Shakespeare and Musical Theater. Additionally, students will focus on career preparation, and real-world experience including auditioning, working with various industry professionals, and opportunities beyond RUHS.  This includes the DTASC festival, where students will compete against other high schools in Southern California. Students will also participate in exclusive performance opportunities for the school and community, including a festival of One-Acts which will be all student-directed, produced, and performed. This course is designed to fit the desires and skill level of the students involved, making it collaborative and challenging!  

 

Prerequisite: Theatre Arts 1, and Audition requirement for class admittance.
